Description

Jamr is the Arabic word for embers: The heat and glow that remain after the flame. Hand-shaped from brown clay, these serving bowls carry the color of earth on the outside and a dark burgundy glaze within, like heat held beneath the surface. Each bowl is finished with hand-drawn motifs, making every piece slightly different and visibly touched by the maker’s hand.

Made in different sizes for serving and gathering, Jamr brings together clay, fire, line, and ritual, transforming an everyday bowl into an object with warmth, character, and presence.

Earth on the outside.
Fire within.
A mark made by hand.
