In Arabic, Al-Dithar means the heavy covering that wraps the body in warmth; the layer we draw close on cold nights, the comfort that settles over us quietly and completely.

Hand-woven in Jordan’s Al-Azraq District, each blanket carries the work of women who know wool from its very beginning. From their own sheep, they flock, braid, dye, and weave the wool by hand, turning raw material into a piece filled with patience, skill, and memory.

Al-Dithar is more than a wool blanket. It is warmth from the land, made by the hands of women, and woven to become part of the home.
