We are proud to announce that Decoration One’s Badia Console has been featured in Interior Design, an international architecture and design publication, as part of its editorial coverage of Amman Design Week 2026.
Published on October 14, 2026, the article, titled “10 Highlights From Amman Design Week,” celebrates outstanding creative works that explore craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and contemporary design.
Among the featured projects, Badia Console by Decoration One was recognized for its distinctive approach to bringing Jordan’s natural landscape into modern furniture design.
Badia Console: Inspired by Jordan’s Desert Flora
Inspired by the beauty of Jordan’s desert flora, Badia Console brings together natural materials, artistic expression, and functional furniture design.
The collection preserves dried native plants, including Saq Al Hamam, Kharfeesh, and Al Awarwar, embedding them in pale resin to capture their delicate textures, organic forms, and natural colors.
Each botanical element becomes part of a visual story, reflecting the passage of time and the connection between nature and contemporary craftsmanship.
Where Traditional Craftsmanship Meets Contemporary Design
The Badia collection includes a console cabinet and decorative paravan (room divider), both distinguished by their carefully preserved botanical elements and elegant matte finishes.
More than functional furniture, these pieces celebrate the relationship between traditional craft practices and modern design.
By preserving elements of Jordan’s natural environment within contemporary forms, Decoration One creates objects that express cultural identity, material heritage, and timeless beauty.
